born on November 25, 1968 Jillian Noel Shennessy is a active Canadian performer and actress who has been praised for her significant contributions for American television. Her name is well-known for her great performances on the American television series Law & Order where she fascinated viewers for three seasons playing prosecutor Claire Kincaid and Crossing Jordan as the main character Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons. Hennessy's acting skills were also evident in the movies RoboCop 3 Most Wanted as and Chutney Popcorn (an independent film) and The Acting Class. In these films, Shennessy also displayed her co-directing and writing capabilities. Hennessy was first noticed in 1988, along with her sister, as twin call girls in the film Dead Ringers. The actress briefly appeared in Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story on Broadway in 1990. In 1993, Hennessy moved away from the world of musicals to enter the science-fiction genre, playing Dr. Marie Lazarus. She got her big break at the end of 1993, when she was cast as the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the hit NBC drama Law & Order. She captivated audiences with her role for three seasons until the end of 1996 when she left.
