Eva Mendes is both an actor as well as a model. Her talent was noticed by an agent and encouraged her to enter the business of entertainment. After much consideration she made the decision to quit her university to join the business of entertainment. She first made an appearance in the movie 'Children from the Corn': Fields of Terror and was disappointed with her own performance. To prove herself, she worked very hard on honing her acting and was featured in a variety of film projects with a low budget. It wasn't an easy road for this actress however, her determination and persistence didn't go unnoticed. The career of her acting began after she received not only praise but also the recognition she earned for her performance for her role in Training Day.
